TEACHER OF GOD"S WORD

TRIBULATION--  something that causes great difficulty, hardship, suffering, distress, affliction. We know that the suffering, and affliction  of God's saints have been many since the begining of mankind. Hebrews chapter eleven. Goes into great detail, giving us examples.  How that they were tortured, beaten with whips, moreover of bonds,  and imprisonment, how they were stoned, sawn asunder, were slain with the sword, wandered about in sheepskins, and  goatskins, being destitute, afflicted, and tormented,   That even today around the world, many are persecuted, afflicted, thrown into prision, and put to death for their  belief in Christ. So the word tribulation should be nothing new to the saints of God. But when it is mention many saints don't want to hear about it. Don't want to talk about it. Refusing to believe that one day that might have to suffer for Christ. The apostles warn us, to keep in mind how that Jesus both suffered and died. That all that live Godly in christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.  The time may come that we might be thrown in prison or have to lay down our life for our belief in christ. Our we better than our Lord, our we better than those that have suffered before us. Have you not read where Gods grace is sufficient. Have you not read where the apostles when they were beaten, went away rejoicing that they were accounted worthy to suffer for this man Jesus. Do you not remember when the Lord told us not to love our lives unto death.  Or how that we shall obtain a better resurrection if we are found worthy to suffer as they did. We should not fear tribulation, But count it as a great honor to both suffer and die. If so called on to do so for our Lord.  To fear not what man can do to us. But go rejoicing, knowing that to be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord.                     James Walker
