THE RAPTURE, The coming of Christ for his Bride. To gather the church unto himself. first Thess:( The dead in christ, shall rise first then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:) second Thess:( Now we beseech you brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him:) Some say that the Lord will be coming for his Bride before the begining of tribulation. Others say that he will be coming at the end of tribulation. So to have a better understanding of when the rapture takes place. It is important to know who the woman is in chapter twelve of Rev: ( and there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars; ) being clothed with the sun is to be clothed with the garments of salvation. The glory of the Lord shining brightly forth through this woman. The moon under her feet is the lesser light which rules the darkness. Which is Satan, which was put under her feet at calvary. The crown of twelve stars, is the twelve tribes of Israel. The first star being the tribe of Judah, who's name appears on the eastern gate of that new city. Which is the tribe that we gentiles are adopted into through Jesus who is the lion of Judah. ( And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered, And there appeared another wonder in heaven: and behold, a great red dragon, ) and it talks about how that his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth. The dragon represents Satan. And the stars that he drew are fallen angels. ( and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered. For to devour her child as soon as it was born. And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne )So now we see that the man child that she brought forth is our Lord and saviour Jesus, Who when he was born, Satan used Herod to try and have him killed. When Herod ordered those under his command to kill every child of the age of two and under. In the town of bethlehem and the coast thereof. So we see by scripture that this woman starts out as those under the old covenant,. waiting for the promise of the messiah. Then Christ bringing in the new covenant, then being called up to God and his throne. Has joined those under the old covenant with those under the new covenant making us one body. So we see that this woman is his Bride. ( the church ) (Israel ) ( Gods elect ) As it is written, all Israel shall be saved. This is the Israel that the scripture is talking about.
