Revelation-- a showing or revealing of divine truth, that which is valuable to the believer, the reavealing of something hidden or secret. In the book of Revelation it covers a seven year period of great tribulation that is to happen before the Lord comes to set up his kingdom here on earth for his thousand year rein. As we study we will dispose of fables that have been taught and become popular over the last some thirty years. Which the old churches never even heard taught. Which would have recognized it not being the truth right from the start. Which sound so good when you hear them taught. But we will see that they are false teachings. Men who I believe were sincere, but that leaned to their own understanding. Teaching things like the white horse in chapter six of Rev. is the antichrist. At one time all christens knew that nothing white in the bible repersented that which is of darkness. But anything white always came, sent, or given, from our Lord. Let's take a little closer look at the scripture. First we can see that these four horses are sent from the Lamb of God. Which we know is our Lord Jesus. He is the only one that is found worthy to loose the seals and send these horses upon the earth. Not Satan, or the seed that he shall spawn which is the antichrist. ( And I saw when the Lamb open one of the seals. And I saw and behold a white horse: ) Horses sometimes in prophecy represent spirits. Remember when Zechariah saw the vision of the red horse, and the speckled horse and a white horse, and black horse. ( I said unto the angel that talked with me, What are these my lord? And the angel answered and said unto me. These are four spirits, ) These four horses in rev. are also four spitits sent on this earth, from our Lord to fulfill his will during this great tribulation period. Spirits that will influence, deceive, will cause men to have strong delusions who follow the antichrist believing that he is the Christ. Which cause famine, great hunger around the globe, death by starvation, death by plagues, death by beast of the earth, death by war. This earth has seen many wars. But not the like of such wars that these spirits shall persuade men to fight. Remember when the Lord in the book of kings, ( and the Lord said, Who shall persuade Ahab that he may go up and fall at Ramoth-gilead? And their came forth a spirit, and stood before the Lord, and said I will persuade him ) and much more havoc shall these spirits cause on the earth. When you hear these men try to say that the rider of the white horse is actually a person. What about the other horses that have riders? They know that these are spirits. So why do they try and separate the white as being something differnt. The Lord said that he came not to bring peace on the earth, but a sword. Rev, ch- 13 vr- 2 Lets us know who is sending the antichrist upon the earth. The dragon, which is Satan, not our Lord Jesus, It says that the dragon gives him his power, and his seat, and great authority. James Walker
