THEY SHALL TURN THEIR EARS AWAY FROM THE TRUTH, AND SHALL BE TURNED UNTO FABELS-- We know that there are a lot of fabels being taught and preached in churches today. So lets dispose of another that is being taught in Rev. Some say that the great tribulation period. Will not be a full seven years long. They get this from where our Lord said. ( except those days be shortened, no flesh would be saved, but for my elects sake those days shall be shortened. ) But I assure you that it will be a full seven years, as prophesied in differnt books of the bible. Once recorded in the word of God, nothing can change or alter its course. Rev,- Explains how and why if those days were not shortened, all flesh would be destroyed from the earth. All flesh not just meaning men, but every living thing on the face of the earth. ( And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun: and power was given him to scorch men with fire. And men were scorched with great heat ) It is going to become so hot, from the sun and the fires that will break out. That no flesh would survive this great heat. But how does revelation tell us that those days are shortened. And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and a third part of the stars: so as the third part of them were darkened, and the day shone not for the third part of it ) So we see that the days during this period of tribulation, are shortened by a third. And the nights becoming one third longer. Making it a lot cooler so that all flesh will not perish from off the face of the earth. James Walker
